Bringing Portugal’s #1 pastry and coffee to NYC!
After noticing the lack of Portuguese cuisine in New York City, founder Joey Batista (aka Joey Bats) decided it was time to bring Portugal to NYC. The signature item, "Pastéis de Nata", are Portugal's most popular pastries and were created in Lisbon in the early 1800's!
After sweeping New York city at outdoor markets and street fairs, "Natas" have been quick to gain a cult following. Now the tasty treat is available everyday at their new café at 129 Allen St in the Lower East Side as well as their second location in Joey’s hometown of Ludlow, Mass.
With its authentic Portuguese black and white packaging and a brand new concept to the area, experiencing Joey Bats Café is a must when visiting New York City.
